Where Eagles Dare studios

pricing summary

A number of factors determine rates at Where Eagles Dare:

Choice of studio

Your choice of studio is an obvious factor in price. The bigger the studio the more expensive it is. Also, the bigger studios tend to have more amenities.

Time of day

There are 3 rates that depend on time of day:

Type of customer

Where Eagles Dare is committed to supporting the lower echelon of theatrical users, namely Off-Off-Broadway. The non-profit rate applies to rehearsals for Equity showcases or non-union plays of equivalent budget, as well as to teachers. Commercial producers (paying union scale) pay the commercial rate. Peak and off-peak rates apply to both non-profit and commercial users. The off-peak commercial rate is the same as the peak non-profit rate.

Type of use

As previously mentioned, classes and Off-Off-Broadway rehearsals pay the non-profit rate. Just about every other kind of use merits the commercial rate: shoots, auditions, and rehearsals for commercial productions.

Volume of hours booked

There is a bulk discount for non-profit producers who book 100 off-peak hours or more. These are shows that typically rehearse 40 hours a week between the hours of 10 am and 5 pm. (The hour from 5 - 6 pm is charged at the peak rate and doesn't count toward the 100-hr. minimum.)
